Wilson Contractors is a well-established locally owned and operated company, specialising in civil contracting – we deliver a range of services including bulk earthworks, roading, drainage, infrastructure and siteworks to clients throughout Central Otago, Queenstown Lakes and Southland since 2003

We are looking for a candidate to join our busy Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago team as a Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver / Transport Operator. You will play a key role in transporting our varied range of small and heavy civil machinery throughout Otago and Southland.

The ideal candidate will be to demonstrate the following:

• Must hold a New Zealand Class 5 Licence with WTR endorsement. (Training given to the ideal candidate)
• Transporting experience in moving plant (Training given to an ideal candidate)
• A great attitude towards the care and maintenance of heavy machinery
• Physically fit
• Able to work unsupervised but also be a proactive team member
• Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety
• Positive can-do attitude and effective communication skills
